Reviewing a Client & Creating an Order

What This Tutorial Covers

This walkthrough shows the core daily workflow in Pawdmin — from pulling up a client profile to creating an order and scheduling it on the calendar.

Step 1: Client Profile

Start by opening a client's profile. You'll see their contact info with quick-action buttons for Call, Text, and Email. Below that are their pets, upcoming appointments, and pending orders. You can also see their preferred scheduling days and times at a glance.

Step 2: Pet Details & Vaccination Tracking

Click on a pet to see their full profile — breed, age, weight, vaccination status with expiration dates, and a one-click Verify button. If vaccinations are expired or unverified, you'll see a warning right away so you know before the appointment.

Step 3: Create an Order

Hit the + Appointment button to start a new order. Choose which pet the appointment is for, then browse or search your service catalog. Each service shows its duration and price. Add services to build the order — you'll see the total time and cost update in real time on the right side.
💡

Coat & Trim Photos

The order page includes upload areas for Current Look, Desired Look, and What to Avoid — so you and your client are always on the same page about the groom.

Step 4: Calendar & Scheduling

Once the order is created, it appears as a pending appointment. Open the Calendar to see your weekly view with all scheduled appointments, revenue per day, and status badges (Scheduled, Paid, Ready To Pay, Partially Paid).

Step 5: Drag & Drop to Schedule

Pending appointments appear at the top of the calendar. Click a client to see their orders with full service breakdowns and time requirements. Then simply drag the order onto the calendar to schedule it — drop it on the day and time slot you want. Pawdmin sizes the block based on the total service duration.
