Reviewing a Client & Creating an Order
Reviewing a Client & Creating an Order
In this tutorial, you will learn how to pull up a client profile, review their pet information, and create a new appointment order — the workflow you will use every day.
Step 1: Your Dashboard
When you log in, your dashboard shows your schedule for the day — who is coming in, what services they are getting, and where things stand with payments. Before you start grooming, always pull up the client first to see the full picture.
Step 2: Find Your Client
Click Clients in the sidebar. This shows all your clients. You can search by name, see their pets, contact info, and when their last appointment was.
Type the client name in the search bar. Click on their name to open their profile.
Step 3: Review the Client Profile
The client profile shows contact info at the top — you can call, text, or email them right from here. Below that you will see upcoming appointments and any pending orders. Check if they have a balance due or anything you need to know before they come in.
Step 4: Check the Pet
Click on the pet name in the tabs. This is where you keep everything about the dog — vaccination records, health information, behavior notes, and grooming history. If the pet has any medical issues or behavioral warnings, you will see them right at the top with badges.
Now you know the full picture — the client payment status and the pet history.
Step 5: Create an Appointment
Click the + Appointment button in the top right. Pawdmin asks which pet this appointment is for. Select the pet and click + Appointment.
Step 6: Add Services
You are now on the order page. On the left you have all your services listed — browse, search, or filter by packages. On the right is your order summary.
Find the service you want (for example, Bath and Blow-dry) and click Add. The service is added to the order with the price and time estimate. You can add more services, add notes, or go straight to checkout.
That is how you review a client and create an order in Pawdmin. Quick, easy, and you always know what you are walking into.
